The lawyer for a whistleblower who revealed President Trumps phone call with Ukraines leader is representing a second whistleblower who has spoken with the inspector general of the intelligence community, according to a report on Sunday.

Mark Zaid, the attorney for the first whistleblower, said an intelligence official with first-hand knowledge of some of the allegations contained in the initial complaint has talked to inspector general Michael Atkinson, ABC News reported.

Zaid said the new whistleblower provided information directly to Atkinson but has not communicated with congressional committees involved in the impeachment inquiry.

Andrew Bakaj, another lawyer aiding the first whistleblower, said in a tweet on Sunday that his firm is representing “multiple whistleblowers in connection to the underlying Aug. 12, 2019, disclosure to the Intelligence Community Inspector General. No further comment at this time.”

The original whistleblower said Trump in his July 25 phone call pressed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to begin an investigation into Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
