Presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warrens campaign has fired its national organizing director following complaints of “inappropriate behavior,” a spokeswoman said Friday.
The campaigns leadership had received multiple complaints over the past two weeks about top aide Richard McDaniel and hired outside counsel to investigate, the spokeswoman said.
“I want us to have a campaign that lives up to our values and that lifts up inclusivity,” Warren told reporters of the firing.
Details about the nature of the complaints were not released; an insider told Politico, which first reported the story, that there were no reports of sexual assault.
