Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions says he still supports President Trump – despite being dumped by the commander in chief.
Sessions appeared Tuesday night at a Republican fundraiser in Huntsville, Alabama, where he praised the president for “relentlessly and actually honoring the promises he made to the American people,” according to AL.com.
“Thats why I still do support him,” he added.
The former senator from Alabama, who was the first member of Congress to endorse Trump in the 2016 Republican presidential primary, incurred the presidents wrath for recusing himself from the investigation into Russian meddling.
