Is it a jacket, a shirt, a top? H&Ms latest hot property is all of the above.

The brown checkered number is all the rage with fashion influencers on Instagram.

The autumnal staple, perfect when the weather is precarious, doesnt come with a designer price either.

Called the Herringbone-weave shirt jacket, itll set you back £29.99.

It ensures youre stylish and comfortable because lets face it, its not hot enough to go without covering your arms but is too warm to lug an actual jacket around.

Emily Bull, Emma Hill and Monikh Dale are among some of the names singing its praises and hailing it a shacket.

Part of H&Ms Conscious range for autumn – a collection which aims to be better for the environment – the shacket is made partly from recycled polyester.

On the H&M website its described as a straight-cut shirt jacket in a sturdy herringbone weave containing some wool with a collar, buttons down the front and a yoke at the back.

It continues: Flap chest pockets with a button, dropped shoulders, long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, and a rounded hem. Slightly longer at the back.

Influencers have been pairing it with shorts, layers, and dresses, making it a versatile item.

Blogger Emma Hill who boasts more than 500,000 followers shared a snap wearing the shacket, layering it with a jumper underneath.

Other fashion bloggers followed suit, adding a touch of winter to their attires with big thick jumpers and hoodies underneath.

Model and stylist Monikh, however, went for a summery vibe.

She paired the shacket with a long leopard print dress. You really can wear it with anything.

Instagram followers cant wait to get their hands on it, calling it a the jacket of dreams.
