Gaming company truck spills thousands of dice onto highway, rolls a 756,000

A truck bringing supplies to a board game company in Georgia spilled around 216,000 dice onto a highway — in whats believed to be the largest accidental roll ever, according to a report Thursday.

The pick-up was hauling a massive load of six-sided dice for a yet-to-be released tabletop game on Friday the 13th, when it took a turn too quickly on Interstate 75 in Atlanta and created the dicey situation, a rep from the gaming company, Trivium Studios, told Kotaku.com.

Roughly half of the load went tumbling onto the busy highway — leaving a team of emergency responders to clean up the Chessex-brand cubes with brooms and shovels, the outlet reported.

“Though unfortunate it happened, nobody got hurt and we now own an unofficial world record for the largest dice roll in history!” said the company spokesman, who was not named in the report.
