Jurgen Klopp demanded Vinicius Junior in return for Sadio Mane when Real Madrid asked about signing the Liverpool forward, according to reports in Spain.

Mane is reportedly on Madrids radar ahead of the summer transfer window as Zinedine Zidane looks to bolster his attacking options.

But according to El Chiringuito, Madrid also made an approach for the Senegal international last summer.

The report claims that Madrid went to Liverpool to discuss an asking price for Mane.

But Liverpool responded by demanding that Madrid pay €200 million (£173m) and include Vinicius in the deal.
