Man City battling Man Utd and Barcelona for Benfica teenager Ronaldo Camara

Manchester City have joined the race for Benfica teenager Ronaldo Camara, who has already attracted the attention of Manchester United and Barcelona.

The 16-year-old is emerging as one of the hottest prospects in world football and is expected to make a move to a European giant this summer.

The Evening Standard report that United tried to get a deal done for Camara in January but couldnt get it over the line.

Now City are looking to skip the queue and beat United and Barca to the signing, despite Camara being on the radar of the two clubs for some time.

Camara is an attack-minded midfielder who plays for Benfica U19s and Portugal U17s.



He started his young career at Sporting, but moved to Benfica in 2015 and has been catching the eye in their youth system ever since.

City may look to get deals done as quickly as possible at the end of the season as they face the prospect of an imminent transfer ban.
