Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has warned against comparisons between Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the clubs record goalscorer Thierry Henry.

Both Lacazette and Aubameyang scored twice in Arsenals convincing 5-1 win over Fulham on Sunday at Craven Cottage.

Lacazette started the fixture and put the visitors into a 2-1 lead before substitute Aubameyang added gloss to the scoreline with a brace late in the game.

Aubameyangs 16 goals in 23 games record since joining the Gunners from Dortmund in 2018 now eclipses that of Henry when he arrived at Highbury in 1999, but Lacazette says comparisons between the two need to be put on hold.

It is hard to compare with Thierry because he came was younger and Auba is at the top of his career, Lacazette said.

But I hope Auba scores as many goals to help us win something.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has mainly set Arsenal up in a 4-2-3-1 formation so far this season, with Aubameyang recently being deployed as a left-sided attacker while Lacazette has occupied the sole strikers role.

Against Fulham, however, the Spaniard paired Danny Welbeck up front with Lacazette in a 4-4-2 formation with Aubameyang replacing Welbeck in the second half.

Lacazette is relishing working alongside the Gabon international and reveals a close personal relationship off the field is helping them perform on it.

It is good, he is like my brother, said Lacazette.

Every day we talk, we love to work together and on Sunday in front of the goal and we scored two goals, which is good.
