Maurizio Sarri insists he has no concerns over Alvaro Moratas form following Chelseas pre-season friendly against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
Chelsea were on course for a victory in Dublin as Antonio Rudiger had given them an early lead but Arsenal won on penalties after Alexandre Lacazette netted an equaliser in injury time.
Morata had been in Venice on Sunday to be with his wife Alice Campello for the birth of their twins but the 25-year-old linked back up with Chelseas squad for their match against Arsenal.
But Morata struggled to make an impact in attack as he missed a host of chances, including a first-half penalty.
Morata is set to start Chelseas Community Shield clash against Manchester City on Sunday due to the absence of Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi, but the Spain international appears to be short of confidence ahead of the new season.
I dont know if he is not confident, said Sarri.
Maybe he was tired.
The last three days for him were very intense, so maybe this match he was a bit tired.
I am not worried about Morata.
