Chicago Bulls player Kris Dunn literally ate the court during Wednesday’s game.
He smashed his face so hard while slamming a dunk against the Golden State Warriors that he left teeth marks on the court.
Footage from the game shows Dunn hanging onto the rim for too long and aggressively swinging.
Suddenly, he comes crashing to the ground at an awkward angle — landing on his face.
Dunn laid on his back momentarily as first-aid crew rushed to his side. He was given a towel to stop the bleeding from his gums.
Fans expressed their shock on Twitter.
Rachel Wales wrote: ‘It sucked the air right out of the UC and totally changed the momentum of the end of the game. I’m a die hard Bulls fan and I think we had a chance to win but after Dunn got hurt it was over.’
Susan March added: ‘Held my breath for a minute when I saw this. Happy to see him walk off the court. Hope he is ok and is back on the court soon. Bulls need him.’
Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg said Dunn is making a good recovery.
He said after the game: ‘There was a good little chunk that he took out of the floor. He’s being evaluated. Tough kid.’
